O Núcleo de Agro da Associação Empresarial de Caçador esteve
na segunda-feira, 20, na Estação Experimental da Epagri, para uma visita
técnica a fim de saber mais sobre as cultivares e pesquisas da maçã.
Os nucleados foram recebidos pelos pesquisadores Marcus
Vinícius Kvitschal e Ivan Faoro, que apresentaram duas variedades da fruta que
estão tendo uma ótima adaptação ao clima da região, sendo Venice e Isadora.
De acordo com a coordenadora do Núcleo de Agro da Acic,
Gisele Frederick, a ideia dos pesquisadores da Epagri é sempre estar
desenvolvendo maçãs que sejam doces, crocantes e suculentas, e estas duas
variedades possuem isso.
“Foi bem interessante
ter mais conhecimento sobre as frutas também na questão da adaptação ao clima,
já que nossa região não possui mais tantas horas de frio. A Epagri se colocou à
disposição de todos que tenham interesse nesse ramo, para que visitem a Estação
Experimental e recebam mais orientações sobre o investimento do plantio.
Existem recursos e tecnologias disponíveis para quem deseja atuar no ramo. Na
palestra foi colocado que para fazer o novo, precisa pensar diferente”,
declarou Gisele.
A coordenação do Núcleo de Agro também agradece o suporte da
diretoria da Acic de Caçador para que ações como esta possam ser desenvolvidas,
assim como toda a atenção prestada pelos pesquisadores da Epagri
durante o encontro.
