O atual prefeito de Timbó Grande e candidato a reeleição,
Valdir Cardoso dos Santos (PSDB), foi notificado pela Justiça Eleitoral e terá
que retirar um vídeo de campanha das redes sociais. Nas imagens, o político
mostra e cita obras que estão em andamento na escola Serafina Bonet, na
localidade de Buriti, e afirma que o ex-prefeito falava em fechar a unidade.
A ação, movida pelo candidato adversário, Ari José Galeski
(União Brasil), alega que Valdir Cardoso cometeu abuso de poder econômico e
político ao pedir votos em vídeo postado nas redes sociais Facebook e
Instagram, utilizando-se de uma obra pública. A decisão de retirar o vídeo foi
proferida nesta terça-feira, dia 24 de setembro, pelo juiz eleitoral Edison
Alvanir Anjos de Oliveira Junior, da 51ª Zona Eleitoral de Santa Cecília.
O juiz considerou que o pedido liminar estava amparado no
artigo 73, inciso I, da Lei n. 9.504/97, que proíbe o uso de bens públicos para
fins eleitorais. Com base nisso, foi determinado que Valdir Cardoso dos Santos
remova imediatamente o vídeo de suas redes sociais e se abstenha de
compartilhá-lo novamente. Em caso de descumprimento, será aplicada uma multa de
R$ 10.000,00 por evento.
A decisão aguarda a certificação do cartório eleitoral sobre
a comunicação do candidato à Justiça Eleitoral acerca de seus perfis nas redes
sociais. O pedido de direito de resposta solicitado por Ari José Galeski será
analisado na sentença final do processo.
