A Polícia Militar (PM) fez uma operação de varredura em Rio
das Antas na noite deste sábado, 5, por conta dos ânimos acirrados por questões
políticas.
De acordo com o comandante do 15º Batalhão de Polícia
Militar (BPM), Major Macedo, ele mesmo foi até o município e se reuniu dos
candidatos a prefeito Selmir Bodanese (MDB) e Gil Moraes (PL), pedindo de que
liderassem seus grupos e pedissem calma, tendo em vista vários pedidos de
intervenção policial e a situação de confronto que estava instalada.
“Estivemos em vários locais, revistamos várias pessoas e
apreendemos facas e outras armas brancas e até um simulacro (imitação) de
pistola. Ocorreram várias denúncias, uma camionete foi apedrejada e danificada,
entre outras ocorrências”, destacou o major.
Foram apreendidos facas, punhais, soco inglês, gás de
pimenta, e outros artefatos para brigas.
“Eu jamais tinha visto situação igual. Tal o acirramento.
Acho que ainda temos que agir até para evitar uma tragédia. Apelo para as
lideranças serenem os ânimos”, finalizou.
