Foi aprovado, nesta quarta-feira, 16, na Comissão de Viação
e Transportes, o projeto de lei do deputado Valdir Cobalchini (PL 2567/24), que
visa aumentar as penas para motoristas alcoolizados envolvidos em acidentes de
trânsito. A proposta endurece as penas por homicídio e lesão corporal quando o
condutor estiver sob influência de álcool ou outras substâncias psicoativas.
Atualmente, a pena de homicídio é de cinco a oito anos de
reclusão, mas o projeto propõe que passe a ser de cinco a dezoito anos, além de
incluir a suspensão ou a suspensão do direito de obter a habilitação para
dirigir. Para casos de lesão corporal, a pena, que hoje é de seis meses a dois
anos de detenção, seria elevada para reclusão de até sete anos.
Cobalchini ressalta: "Dirigir sob a influência do
álcool é uma irresponsabilidade que coloca vidas em risco. Não podemos mais
tolerar essa prática”.
A proposta, já aprovada na Comissão de Viação e Transportes,
segue agora para a Comissão de Constituição e Justiça (CCJ), onde o deputado
garante que está empenhado nas negociações para uma aprovação rápida.
